The most powerful Android handset to date has finally got a release date, and price. HTC EVO 4G will be available on Sprint’s 4G network starting 4th of June, for $199 (after all the discounts) on a new contract. To enjoy WiMAX on this device, you will be paying $10 extra a month for the “Premium Data add-on” on top your chosen plan. Moreover, the 8-device hotspot feature will cost $29.99 extra every month. Since the device has a front cam for video conferencing, you’ll be able to do video chats over both 3G and 4G speeds using Qik app.
The hardware specifications of this phone are somewhat similar to those of the HTC HD2, but differs in some places especially memory and battery.
