Download Yahoo Messenger 10

What I have done is extracted the original setup URL from the Yahoo download stream and have uploaded Yahoo Messenger 10 to Technize servers. Now you can easily download the full version of Yahoo Messenger 10 so that it’s easier for you to install the messenger if you want to re-install it anyway.

How To Select Default Internet Connection From Multiple Connections

There are times when we have multiple internet connections and multiple gateways to browse the internet. In this situation, we don’t know which internet connection is being used right now. All this can be seen with a built-in command in Windows. Issue the following command and you’ll get the full routing table of Windows:
C:\>route print –4

Look for the row which specifies Network destination as 0.0.0.0 and netmask as 0.0.0.0. In this row, you’ll find a default gateway section which will be your gateway. If you have multiple internet connections, you will find multiple entries with the above properties. Now that you have seen the gateways, note down the Metric for each gateway.
The default gateway that is being used for the internet connection is the one with the smallest metric value. If you want to make another internet connection default, you have to change its metric to the lowest.
There is no easy way to edit the routing table and lower the metric value for the default gateway of your choice. NetRouteView is one utility from Nirsoft which can be used to edit these values.

Download NetRouteView from the following link and start it. First select the route you want to make default and then selct File –> Modify Selected Route or simply press Ctrl-M. Now make the Metric value the lowest from all the other default routes we identified previously.

Apple to Ban More Apps from App Store

Another batch of iPhone apps are, apparently, about to get the axe. Reports are popping up around the net, that “cookie cutter” type apps are starting to be pulled from the App Store. This would include RSS apps, and photo gallery type apps. Any app that just packages an online service, and doesn’t offer any other functionality.

It was just a while ago the Apple was bragging about 100K apps in the App Store, but the past few weeks seem to contradict that, with all the cuts. First we heard about the so called "explicit" apps being pulled, then WiFi stumbling apps were purged, and now the "cookie cutter" apps are starting to go.

iPad to Make Emergency Phone Calls like iPhone?

Well it looks like iPad will allow you to make emergency phone calls in the time of need. According to GumballTech’s finding using the latest iPhone 3.2 SDK for iPad, if you incorrectly enter your passcode for 5 times consecutively, iPad brings up a screen with slide to emergency call just like the one found on the iPhone.
Apple may have included this functionality for 3G iPad models only to get it complaint with FCC regulations which requires “wireless "phones" be able to make emergency calls, even if the phones aren’t currently active or even assigned a number”.

Since then, no further information about a specific shipping date or pre-order options were given. For the last few days though, strong rumors were buzzing the web-world that iPad launch has been delayed by a month or so. This unspecified production problem was attributed to bottle-necks at the manufacturer’s end. Everyone was worried why Apple was keeping so mum on the subject.

Next Generation iPhone 4G to Cost Less than its Predecessors

The biggest barrier to iPhone adoption has always been the cost of the hardware, along with the service charges that comes from the carrier’s plan. According to Katy Huberty from Morgan Stanley – an industrial analyst, the hardware cost stops about 85% of people from buying the iPhone while the service plan stops about 66%. But all this is said to change come this June, when Apple is expected to unveil the next-gen iPhone.
